The next level of relationship

How focused are you as a therapist?

The process of becoming a couples and family therapist is challenging. We start out trying to emulate The Greats, only to stall out and realize our sessions feel chaotic and we can’t find ourselves in the room. You have the nudging sense that you could be working cleaner and with more attunement - but how? This work is too complex to do without focus. I can help you find your voice and develop a plan to work through even the toughest moments in therapy.

How real are you in your relationship?

“She doesn’t want to hear about what I have to deal with all day, she wants to know she married someone who can handle business and be the rock for the family.” You stuff down the difficult and painful things you deal with and try to soldier through. Your relationship is getting more distant, more tense, and you are fighting more frequently and explosively. Sex doesn’t feel connected or happen as often. But you’re doing what you’ve been taught, why aren’t things working? If you can’t see me as a client, read the two books I’ve written (below) and find an EFT therapist in your area.

Reconnect without sacrificing who you are

“I have a new hero. As I write that, I realize that there haven’t been many times in my life where I said that statement and really meant it. I’ve had many mentors, many men I admire, and many influential figures, but honestly not that many men I’d call a real hero. I just met and interviewed George Faller for the podcast and I’ve got to admit I’m having some real feelings of humility, awe and respect.”
